Stop Press: The North Shore Organ and Keyboard Club are thrilled and honoured to announce that one of New Zealand's finest professional pianists has graciously agreed to give a Concert for the Club at our Club Rooms on 3rd November 2009. This will be the first time our Club has had the privilege of having Rendall perform for us. Rendall will perform primarily on the Club's Yamaha Clavinova CVP-305 piano but he may also treat us to a few songs on the Club's magnificent Technics GA3 electronic organ - Rendall being an accomplished organist as well as a fine pianist!
Members may well be familiar with the music of Rendall who plays easy listening contemporary music but in his own inimitable style. Then throw in some of the classics like Chopin and you have an amazing versatile and creative pianist. Expect to be amazed! Rendall's 'CV' is pretty impressive playing grand piano in the 1990's in high profile locations:

Rendall has also very generously offered to make available at the Concert his music CD's at a very special concessionary rate of $10 each (usually $25 plus P&P directly from Rendall Miller - see below contact details). These are professionally produced recordings made the the World famous Stebbings Recording Studios in Auckland. Post-Script:
The 'hype' for the pre-concert was certainly justified! Rendall gave us a wonderful concert - non-stop and full-on for a solid hour. What a wonderful selection of songs Rendall chose for us also, from the light popular to Gershwin and Chopin. In all 20 full music pieces were played within the hour including an encore for the audience requested "Fascination".
